This past week has been super busy! on Wednesday we had exchanges. I was with Elder Hinck for the day and I leaned a ton from him. That morning one of the priests from the Tillamook ward came out with us and he seemed to really enjoy it. We have an investigator that invited us over for dinner, they are from India. they made us some authentic Indian food and it was so hot but so good. At least until they kept on piling more and more on our plate we walked out of there so stuffed. We had quite a few lessons but the one that I loved the most was with a man named terry. He has a very strong faith in Jesus Christ, and he loves to talk… a lot. So we were resolving one of his concerns and by the end of it the spirit was so strong that he didn't have anything to say for his concern. It’s pretty cool how the spirit can tell us when something is true or when it is false. We had a great lesson with LaTasha and her mom joined in with us! LaTasha has been trying so hard to get Her family to start taking the lessons. her mom and little brothers also came to church on Sunday and absolutely loved it! |
Mosiah 4:11 And again I say unto you as I have said before, that as ye have come to the knowledge of the glory of God, or if ye have known of his goodness and have tasted of his love, and have received a remission of your sins, which causeth such exceedingly great joy in your souls, even so I would that ye should remember, and always retain in remembrance, the greatness of God, and your own nothingness, and his goodness and long-suffering towards you, unworthy creatures, and humble yourselves even in the depths of humility, calling on the name of the Lord daily, and standing steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come, which was spoken by the mouth of the angel.
12 And behold, I say unto you that if ye do this ye shall always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God, and always retain a remission of your sins; and ye shall grow in the knowledge of the glory of him that created you, or in the knowledge of that which is just and true.
