This past week has been filled with many miracles even though it was slower.
One of the big miracles is that Richard came to church for the first time in a long while. It seemed that all three hours were focused straight to him. It was pretty awesome. LaTasha also got up and bore her testimony! It is amazing how much faith she has and how much she wants to learn and grow.
For me church seemed to be all about prayer which was a miracle because that is what I have been studying a lot about this past week. My favorite scripture that I came across was in Alma 37:36-37. In these few verses Alma is giving his son guidance and I think if we were all to take this to heart that we would have a much better life also. |

It says "Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever. Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God;" My favorite part is counsel with the Lord in all you do and he will direct thee for good. This last week I put this to the test and let me tell you he definitely directed me for good when I truly humbled myself and turned to him. God loves every one of us and wants to bless us more than we could ever know.
I love being a missionary and my life has been changed forever because of the man it has made me.
